Ferntown Lodge is 2.5 hours' drive from Nelson; Half an hour from Takaka.
By Plane
You can fly direct to Takaka from Wellington with Golden Bay Air or fly to Nelson from all the major New Zealand airports and drive over.
By Helicopter
We can arrange helicopter drop-off from Nelson (or other locations such as Karamea and the West Coast by arrangement)
On Foot
Ferntown Lodge is just 25 minutes' drive from the northern end of the Heaphy Track. Pick-up or drop-off transport can easily be arranged (at additional cost).
